Waste materials are reduced in sized by primary shredders, then conveyed to balers which compress the waste into dense bales varying in weight between 3 and 4 tons per bale.
Baled materials are stored on site until enough volume has been accumulated to maximize shipments via truck, barge or train.
Residential and commercial waste streams are delivered to the transfer station and sorted for valuable recyclable commodities and the removal of hazardous materials prior to processing.
